Production\Procurement Co-Ordinator

Start Date : THIS ROLE HAS NOW BEEN FILLED

A vacancy has arisen for a position within our Production and Purchasing Office to provide the day-to-day administration and support both to MGE's Purchasing Controller as well as our Production Supervisor. The successful applicant will form part of this small team but will also have exposure to other areas of the business including helping build external relationships with our existing suppliers.

Brief Role Summary

​

Purchasing activities;

​

• Produce purchase orders & managing supplier order acknowledgements.

• Organise and review supplier quotations.

• Monitor and maintain supplier records and information.

• Ensure timely delivery of components and services in conjunction with the Purchasing Controller.

​

Production Activities;

 

• Responsible for manufacturing order entry for all areas of the business (Medical, Pump, Print and Converting).

• Liaise with MGE service providers for servicing of internal MGE assets within the factory.

• Assist with the production and distribution of manufacturing and MRP reports.

• Monitor and maintain item records for stock control.

Internal MGE Activities;

​

• Link with all internal departments to organise purchasing of goods and services

• Link to engineering and production to help coordinate technical support

• Link to engineering and production for sourcing new components

​

Your Background

​

Ideally we are looking for a candidate with 3+ years of working in an engineering environment with experience in Production and stock reporting \ control. Good Team and communication skills are essential and an understanding of Purchasing processes would also be beneficial as this will be part of the role. Salary will be commensurate with the experience and ability of the successful applicant.
